Wally Marshall, a professional angler, tackle designer, and the owner of the Mr. Crappie & Wally Marshall Brands, has forever changed the world of crappie fishing. Marshall started fishing crappie tournaments in 1987 and has over 26 tournament wins, including becoming the 2003 National Champion. In 2002, he was voted Angler of the Year, in 2008, he was elected into the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame, and in 2023, he was elected into the Texas Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame.

Beyond his numerous innovations in the fishing industry, Marshall maintains an undying dedication to philanthropic work within the industry through education and charitable donations to numerous schools, churches, and youth organizations.

The Wally Marshall Signature Series reels feature a lightweight graphite body and skeletal rotor design, a double anodized aluminum spool with gold accent lines, and a strong and balanced wire aluminum bail. These reels provide anglers with the performance and durability they need for their crappie fishing adventures.

The Wally Marshall Signature Series 50 reel has a gear ratio of 5.0:1, a line capacity of 120/4 yards, a weight of 4.9 ounces, and a maximum drag of 6 pounds. The Wally Marshall Signature Series 75 reel has a gear ratio of 5.0:1, a line capacity of 120/6 yards, a weight of 5.0 ounces, and a maximum drag of 6 pounds. The Wally Marshall Signature Series 100 reel has a gear ratio of 5.1:1, a line capacity of 160/6 yards, a weight of 7.3 ounces, and a maximum drag of 6 pounds.
